Intern, Business Analysis
Responsibilities:
After the 2008 devastating earthquake in Sichuan, Cisco responded with immediate disaster relief aid and committed to contribute US$45 million over three years to aid the post-earthquake rebuilding effort. In the past 2 years, by partnering with the Sichuan government, Cisco has been designing and deploying models of 21st century healthcare and education in the earthquake-damaged areas.
The intern student is expected to participate in the impact assessment of this Connecting Sichuan program and the long-term sustainability of the solutions Cisco has deployed. Specifically, the intern will work closely with the program team and be responsible for the following activities and deliverables:
- Collect relevant program data
- Comparative analysis of before/after and cost/benefit data
- Draft analysis and assessment reports in English and Chinese
- Translation of related documents
- Coordinate related Cisco internal and partner team activities
Requirements:
- Business acumen
- Good understanding of information and communications technologies is a plus
- Fluent in both English & Chinese for verbal and written communication
- Hard working and with positive attitude
- Team player
- Excellent Word, Excel, & PPT skills
Expected Term of Services:
May through August, 2010
