Intern, Business Analysis

Responsibilities:

After the 2008 devastating earthquake in Sichuan, Cisco responded with immediate disaster relief aid and committed to contribute US$45 million over three years to aid the post-earthquake rebuilding effort. In the past 2 years, by partnering with the Sichuan government, Cisco has been designing and deploying models of 21^st century healthcare and education in the earthquake-damaged areas.

The intern student is expected to participate in the impact assessment of this Connecting Sichuan program and the long-term sustainability of the solutions Cisco has deployed. Specifically, the intern will work closely with the program team and be responsible for the following activities and deliverables:

1. Collect relevant program data
2. Comparative analysis of before/after and cost/benefit data
3. Draft analysis and assessment reports in English and Chinese
4. Translation of related documents
5. Coordinate related Cisco internal and partner team activities

Requirements:

1. Business acumen
2. Good understanding of information and communications technologies is a plus
3. Fluent in both English & Chinese for verbal and written communication
4. Hard working and with positive attitude
5. Team player
6. Excellent Word, Excel, & PPT skills

Expected Term of Services:

May through August, 2010
